Chinese Consul General Long Dingbin Visits Western Australia Chinese Chamber of Commerce

On April 1, 2025, Chinese Consul General in Perth Long Dingbin visited the Western Australia Chinese Chamber of Commerce and held discussions with President Tony Chong, Vice President He Xiao and others. Consul Wang Zhufeng also joined the meeting.


Consul General Long provided a detailed briefing on the outcomes of China’s "Two Sessions" held in March, emphasizing that China will continue to deepen reforms and expand high-level opening-up. He highlighted the close economic and trade tie between China and WA, noting that Chinese modernization will bring more opportunities to countries and regions of the world. He encouraged the WACCC to continue playing an active role in fostering China-WA economic and trade cooperation, promoting cultural exchanges, and contributing to the unity of the WA Chinese community.


Tony Chong and others expressed that the WACCC is committed to supporting WA-China economic and trade collaboration and working with other Chinese communities in promoting traditional Chinese culture. They expressed their willingness to strengthen ties with different Chinese sectors and local Chinese community to contribute to the development of a multicultural local community and WA-China economic cooperation.
