In order to provide better service for the Hong Kong/Macao SAR visa applicants, the Consulate General of People's Republic of China in Perth no longer accepts visa applications from ordinary passport holders from May 1st ,2019. Applicants shall apply to the Chinese Visa Application Service Centre in Perth.

2. Business hours and fees

1) Business Hours: Monday - Friday, public holiday excluded.

2) Application Submission: 9:00-13:00 (urgent applications: 9:00-12:00)

3) Payment and Passport Collection: 13:00 -15:00 (urgent applications: after 11:00 on the next working day)

4) Fees: Visa Fees are collected on behalf of the Consulate General of People's Republic of China in Perth. The Visa Centre will charge an Application Service Fee on top of the visa fee. For detailed information, please contact the Visa Centre or refer to its website.

5) Processing time: 4 working days for Regular Service. Express or Rush Service needs to be approved by consular officers and there will be an extra charge. Please note the processing time mentioned above is for reference only. If an application is required to be referred to the Immigration Department of the Government of the Hong Kong SAR or the Macao SAR, the processing time will be extended.

3. Special Notices

1) The Visa Centre is only responsible for collecting visa applications. The Consulate General of People's Republic of China in Perth,the Government of the Hong Kong SAR and the Macao SAR reserve the right to make final decisions on a case-by-case basis.

2) Applicants holding diplomatic/official passport, applying for diplomatic, official or courtesy visas, and Chinese Citizens applying for Entry Permit to the Hong Kong SAR, can still submit applications to the Consulate General of People's Republic of China in Perth (Address: 45 Brown St, East Perth, WA 6004); Business time: Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 12 PM, public holiday excluded)

3) Applicants can submit applications to the Consulate General via the Visa Centre, or directly to the Immigration Department of the Government of the Hong Kong SAR or the Immigration Department of the Macao SAR Public Security Police Force.
