Notice on Launching the China Online Visa Processing System and Adjustment of Chinese Visa Application Service Centers

China Online Visa Processing System will be officially launched in Australia as from September 15, 2025. Visa Applicants could enjoy convenience of filling out theform and uploading application materials online. For detailed information, please follow the notices on the websites of the Embassy and Consulates of China and Chinese Visa Application Service Centers in Australia.

As from September 15, 2025, the Canberra Chinese Visa Application Service Center, the Perth Chinese Visa Application Service Center and the Brisbane Chinese Visa Application Service Center will no longer accept visa applications.

Chinese visa applicants holding ordinary passports of Australia and the third country in the Australian Capital Territory, the Northern Territory, New South Wales and Queensland should submit their visa applications at the Sydney Chinese Visa Application Service Center.

Chinese visa applicants holding ordinary passports of Australia and the third country in Victoria, Tasmania, Western Australia and South Australia should submit their visa applications at the Melbourne Chinese Visa Application Service Center.
