On April 21, Consul General FU Lihua attended the XCMG Group and Brooks Group Open Day event in Perth. SONG Liwei, Secretary of the CPC Xuzhou Municipal Committee, and YANG Dongsheng, Chairman of XCMG Group, who were visiting Australia, together with Doug BROOKS, Chairman of Brooks Group, Zhang Yong, President of the Perth Branch of the China Chamber of Commerce in Australia, James CLARKE, President of the WA Branch of the Australia China Business Council, and nearly 100 other industry representatives were present.

Consul General FU highlighted that China's strong manufacturing capabilities and vast market are highly complementary to Australia‌, emphasizing that China and Australia are natural partners. She stressed that China's ‌15th Five-Year Plan‌ opens new opportunities for deepening, expanding, and upgrading bilateral cooperation, Australian enterprises are welcome to participate in and share the development opportunity. The Consulate General will continue facilitating collaboration between China and Western Australia.
