On May 22, 2026, Fu Lihua, Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Perth, accompanied by Consul Yang Xiuqing, visited Karara Iron Ore Project in Mid-West of Western Australia.

Consul General Fu held talks with Ma Dong, CEO of  Karara Mining Limitied, Wang Xiaodong, General Manager of Project Operations , and the management team and conducted on-site inspections of mining, processing, and transport-loading operations, keeping abreast of current production and operations. She acknowledged the project’s achievements and encouraged the team to continue prioritizing safety and compliance to rules and regulations and fulfillment of social responsibilities, contributing to practical cooperation between China and Western Australia.

Ma Dong and others expressed that Karara will continue to strive for innovation, improve project efficiency and quality, better serve local development, and contribute to the friendship and cooperation between China and Western Australia.
