This 21 December marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the People’s Republic of China and the Commonwealth of Australia. To commemorate this special year of China-Australia relationship, the Chinese Consulate General in Perth is going to host an Online Gala Show by Western Australian primary and secondary school students, which will be launched on our WeChat and Facebook accounts on 21 December, 2022.

Performances in forms of singing, musical instrument playing,  Chinese traditional opera, dancing, martial arts, cross talk comic dialogue, sketch comedy etc. are all welcome as long as with the theme of celebrating friendship between China and Australia.

Submission opens from 24 October to 21 November, 2022.

The very best of the entries will be selected into the Online Gala Show.

The Chinese Consulate General in Perth will issue participation certificates to schools with high quality performances and will introduce the selected performances to key Chinese media such as Xinhua News Agency, China Central Television and People’s Daily etc.
