On December 5, 2024, Consul General Long Dingbin attended the 9th Annual Ping Pong Friendship Games organized by Australia China Business Council Western Australia Branch and China Chamber of Commerce in Australia Perth Branch, had an exhibition match with Premier of Western Australia Roger Cook and presented trophy to the winners. James Clarks, President of Australia China Business Council Western Australia Branch, and Sun Xiaoxuan, Honorary President of China Chamber of Commerce in Australia Perth Branch, attended the event.

Consul General Long said China and Western Australia enjoy close exchanges and cooperation. He has visited many places of Western Australia and was very much impressed. Strengthening exchanges and contacts is an effective way to promote cooperation. I thank the chambers for hosting important events such as the Ping-Pang Friendship Games over the years, and will continue to support and facilitate exchanges and cooperation between the business communities of China and Western Australia.

Premier Roger Cook said exchanges and cooperation between China and Western Australia continue to develop, and the recent resumption of direct flights between China and Perth is one of the concrete manifestations. It is hoped that the Ping-Pang Friendship Games will become more successful and China-Western Australia cooperation will be further strengthened.
