On August 1, 2026, Consul General Fu Lihua, accompanied by Consul Wang Shuwei, attended the 5th RoboPro Australia Youth Drone Tournament Award Ceremony, hosted by Aerial Frontier Association. Over 100 attendees were present, including Hon. Dr Parwinder Kaur MLC, representing the WA Minister for Science and Innovation; Ms. Katy Mair, Mayor of the City of Melville; Mr. Hu Jinliang, representative of the World Robot Contest Organizing Committee.

In her remarks, Consul General Fu highlighted China' s innovative achievements in the drone sector and the outcomes of the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference. She stated that the new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation is advancing at a faster pace, with emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and automatic control offering significant opportunities. She emphasized that all countries should take a people-centered approach and develop Artificial Intelligence for the positive and for good, ensuring that emerging technologies become an important driver for shared prosperity and common security. She expressed the hope that all participants could acquire the wisdom of using technology for good and the mind of pursuing harmony across the world. She also encouraged all participants to visit China to learn more about drone technology development, thereby injecting greater vitality into the common development of China and Australia.
